Lifestyle Writer · Wellness Enthusiast · New Delhi, India

I am Kirti Sharma — a New Delhi-based lifestyle writer, trained in Nutrition & Lifestyle Management, and certified in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. I started KirtiExplore because I kept looking for lifestyle advice that actually made sense for Indian women — advice that acknowledged our routines, our kitchens, our budgets, and our lives. Most of what I found was either too Western to apply or too generic to trust. So I decided to write it myself.

Everything I write here comes from personal experience, verified research, and a genuine desire to help — not from keyword lists or content farms. This is a one-person blog, and I take that responsibility seriously.

Why KirtiExplore exists

The internet is overflowing with lifestyle content. But when you are a working woman in Delhi trying to figure out a realistic self-care routine, or a young professional in Mumbai trying to make her small apartment feel like home on a limited budget, most of that content simply does not speak to you. It is written for a different climate, a different currency, a different kind of kitchen, and a different pace of life.

KirtiExplore was born in 2020 out of a personal frustration — and a deeply personal need. I had just moved into my own flat for the first time, navigating the chaos of adult life with a demanding job, a tight budget, and a genuine desire to take better care of myself. I was Googling constantly: how to eat healthier without giving up dal chawal, how to make a 400-square-foot bedroom feel peaceful, how to build a skincare routine that did not require ten international products I could not afford or pronounce.

“I wanted lifestyle advice that respected the way we actually live in India — our seasons, our spices, our spaces, our pressures. That content did not quite exist. So I wrote it.”

What started as personal notes and shared WhatsApp messages to friends slowly became a blog — and then a community. KirtiExplore is not trying to be the biggest lifestyle platform on the internet. It is trying to be the most useful one for the Indian women who land here looking for something real.

Every article on this site is written with a single question in mind: would this actually help someone who is reading it at 11 PM on a Tuesday after a long day? If the answer is yes, it gets published. If not, it gets rewritten or scrapped entirely.

Four areas we cover — deeply

KirtiExplore is a focused lifestyle blog. We do not try to cover everything. Instead, we go deep into four areas where we have genuine knowledge, real experience, and a strong point of view. Every topic cluster is built to give you a complete picture — not just one article, but a whole resource.

🌿

Wellness & Self-Care

Practical, science-backed routines for sleep, skin, mental health, and daily habits — designed for real Indian life.

🏡

Home & Everyday Living

Organisation, décor, and home management tips for Indian apartments — including budget-friendly, vastu-aware ideas.

📖

Personal Growth

Journalling, productivity, habits, and mindset — evergreen guides for building a life that feels intentional.

🥗

Food & Healthy Eating

Simple, healthy Indian recipes and eating habits — focused on real food, not fad diets or expensive supplements.

Within each of these areas, we publish in-depth, long-form articles that go beyond surface-level tips. We explain the why behind every recommendation, cite the research where relevant, and always contextualise advice for the Indian reader — our climate, our food culture, our budget constraints, and our daily rhythms.

The values that guide every article

Building a trustworthy lifestyle blog is not just about producing good content. It is about holding yourself to a consistent standard — especially when no one is watching. Here are the values that shape every piece of writing on KirtiExplore.

  • 1
Honesty over virality If something does not work, we say so. We would rather publish a balanced, nuanced article that gets shared slowly than a clickbait headline that gets forgotten in an hour. Our readers trust us because we do not exaggerate — and we never will.
  • 2
Experience-first writing Every tip we share is either personally tested, drawn from our training, or sourced from credible research. We clearly distinguish between personal experience, expert consensus, and general guidance. You will never find unverified claims presented as facts on this blog.
  • 3
India-first perspective We write for the Indian reader. Our ingredient recommendations are available in Indian markets. Our budget references are in rupees. Our seasonal advice accounts for Indian weather patterns. Our home tips are written for Indian apartment layouts. This is not an afterthought — it is the entire point.
  • 4
No fluff, no filler Every paragraph earns its place. We do not pad articles to hit word counts. We do not repeat the introduction in the conclusion. We write as much as the topic genuinely requires — and stop there. Your time is valuable.
  • 5
Transparency about limitations KirtiExplore is a lifestyle blog, not a medical practice, a registered dietitian clinic, or a licensed therapy service. When a topic approaches the boundaries of professional expertise, we say so clearly and point you toward qualified professionals. We take this responsibility seriously.

How every article gets written

We are not a content factory. KirtiExplore publishes fewer articles than most lifestyle blogs — and that is intentional. Every piece goes through a careful process before it reaches you, because we believe that one genuinely useful article is worth ten mediocre ones.

1
Topic selection from real questions

Every article starts with a real question — from a reader, from personal experience, or from a gap we notice in existing content. We do not write about things just because they trend. We write about things people genuinely need to understand.

2
Research and source review

Before writing, we review credible sources — published research, expert guidelines, government health advisories, and reputable health and lifestyle organisations. Where applicable, we cross-reference information across multiple sources before including it in an article.

3
Personal testing and application

For practical topics — skincare routines, organising methods, meal prep strategies, habit systems — we personally test the advice before recommending it. If we would not do it ourselves, it does not go on the blog.

4
Writing, editing, and reviewing

Articles are written in clear, plain English — accessible to anyone, not just experts. We edit for accuracy, tone, and clarity before publishing. Every claim is checked. Every recommendation is grounded in either personal experience or verifiable sources.

5
Regular updates

Lifestyle advice evolves. We revisit older articles periodically to update information, correct anything that has changed, and improve the reading experience. You will see a “last updated” date on articles that have been refreshed.

Our editorial standards & disclaimers

Transparency is a cornerstone of this blog. We want you to know exactly what KirtiExplore is, what it is not, and how we operate — so you can make informed decisions about the content you read and act on.

📋 Health & wellness content

Articles on wellness, nutrition, and self-care on KirtiExplore are written for general informational and educational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Kirti Sharma holds a PG Diploma in Nutrition & Lifestyle Management, but is not a licensed medical doctor, registered dietitian, or mental health professional.

If you have a health concern, a diagnosed condition, or are making significant dietary or lifestyle changes, please consult a qualified healthcare professional. We take this disclaimer seriously — it is not legal boilerplate, it is genuine guidance.

🔗 Affiliate links & sponsored content

Some articles on KirtiExplore may contain affiliate links — meaning we may earn a small commission if you purchase a product through our link, at no extra cost to you. We only recommend products we have personally used or genuinely believe in. Sponsored content, if any, will always be clearly labelled as such. Our editorial opinions are never influenced by commercial relationships.

✏️ Content accuracy & updates

We make every effort to keep information accurate and current. However, lifestyle and wellness knowledge evolves — and what was best practice two years ago may have been updated. We flag major revisions with a “last updated” date. If you spot an error or outdated information in any article, please use our contact page to let us know. We take corrections seriously and update promptly.

This blog is for you, if…

KirtiExplore is not for everyone — and that is okay. We write for a specific kind of reader: someone who is thoughtful, curious, and genuinely trying to build a life that feels good — not just one that looks good on Instagram.

You will feel at home here if you are a young Indian woman navigating life in a city — balancing work, relationships, home, and health, often all at once. You are done with generic advice that does not apply to your reality. You want things you can actually do, with products you can actually find, at prices that make actual sense.

You care about your health — but you are not obsessive about it. You want to eat better, move more, sleep properly, and feel calmer — without turning your entire life upside down. You are looking for sustainable, sensible, human advice. Not perfection. Just progress.

You value your home and want it to feel like a sanctuary — even if it is a rented flat with limited space and an IKEA bookshelf. You believe in growing as a person, but you are tired of productivity gurus who make it sound like sleeping less and doing more is the answer to everything.

“If you are trying to live a little better — with a little more intention, a little more care, and a lot more honesty — you are in the right place.”

KirtiExplore is a work in progress, just like all of us. It grows as I grow, learns as I learn, and evolves as life keeps throwing new things at me. I am grateful you are here — and I hope something you read on this blog genuinely makes your day a little easier, your home a little calmer, or your life a little more yours.
